File Restore - Emergency Undelete V3.1 recovers deleted files and their folder structures from PC system drives. File Restore - Emergency Undelete includes all the award winning functionality of the File Restore Professional edition, but has NO product installer.
File recovery tools that require a product installer are capable of permanently destroying the very same files that you are attempting to recover.

IMPORTANT -  Internet activity, email, product installation, Windows updates, instant messaging etc., all involve writing data e.g. temp files to the system drive. All these activities must be stopped or minimised as much as possible.

If you have deleted files from a PC system drive (typically C:), the lost data will still reside on the system drive. When a file is deleted or lost, the area of the drive is allocated by Windows as a "free" area to save any newly created files to. PC activity e.g. Installing software, Internet use, etc., will create new files and these newly created files will potentially overwrite the very same deleted files that that you are attempting to recover. When a deleted file is overwritten it is permanently lost.

As File Restore - Emergency Undelete has no product installer it is recommended that the product file is downloaded to, and run from a removable drive e.g. pen drive, memory stick, floppy disk, etc.

If you have deleted files from your PC system/boot drive (typically C:), then it is VERY important that you read the File Restore - Emergency Undelete file recovery steps.

System drive file recovery steps:

Step 1. ALL system drive disk activity must be STOPPED, or kept to an absolute minimum.

If you are viewing this web page from the PC where the C: drive files have been deleted, then you must STOP any further web activity and download File Restore - Emergency Undelete now. If files have been deleted from C: then the download MUST be saved to a removable drive e.g. a memory stick that is plugged in to one of the computers USB ports. Do NOT download File Restore - Emergency Undelete to your system drive as this will potentially overwrite and permanently erase your deleted files.

If you are viewing this web site from another PC then File Restore - Emergency Undelete should also be downloaded and saved to a removable drive. The removable drive can then be inserted in to one of the computers USB ports.

Step 2. Run File Restore - Emergency Undelete from a removable drive.

Save the FileRestore - Emergency Undelete.exe file to a removable drive. The Emergency Undelete edition has been developed with no requirement for a Windows installer. As no installer is required, the recovery software can be run from any removable drive N.B. When software requires an installer to run, the installer will write installation files to the C: system drive. The newly created installation files will overwrite and permanently erase the deleted files that you are attempting to recover. As File Restore - Emergency Undelete requires NO installer then it will NOT overwrite your deleted files.

File recovery software that includes an installer MUST NOT be used if you have deleted files from your C: system drive.

Step 3. Review scan results, and recover your deleted C: system drive data.

Scan the system drive (C:) with File Restore - Emergency Undelete. When the scan completes review the results. Files may be reviewed by highlighting the file and the file contents previewed in the preview window. When you have reviewed your files you can purchase File Restore - Emergency Undelete. Product activation keys are available immediately, online and via email. On receipt of the activation key, apply the licence and recover your files N.B. Your recovered files MUST be saved to a drive other than C: e.g. a data drive (a different drive letter), a removable drive or another computer.

Important Recovery Tips

If you have deleted your data then please read these secure recovery tips.

  • It is VERY IMPORTANT once it is realised that data has been deleted that the drive activity is kept to a minimum. Windows, or another program, will start writing new data to the newly allocated "free" area of the drive, i.e. where the deleted or lost data is located.  Stopping the use of the device (the drive) will minimise the chances of Windows overwriting the deleted data. Once a deleted file is overwritten the deleted data will no longer be recoverable.

If data has been deleted from a PC boot drive (usually the C: Drive) be aware that internet activity, email, Windows updates, instant messaging etc., can all involve writing data to this disk. Drive activity must be kept to a minimum to help ensure successful file recovery.

  • Do NOT turn off your computer or disk drive device!
Shutting down and then rebooting a device may create new files, and potentially overwrite deleted or lost files.
  • Do NOT install ANY software on the drive where the deleted data is located.
It is recommended that File Restore be installed on a different drive to the one where the original deleted data resides. Saving File Restore (or any other program or file, and thereby writing data) to the same drive has the potential to overwrite and permanently erase the very data that you are attempting to recover.

The default download version of File Restore includes a full install. The Full Install version will be installed on the system drive, typically the C: drive. If the lost or deleted data resides on the PC system drive, then the File Restore - Emergency Undele No Install version is recommended. The No Install version will NOT save File Restore installation files to the system drive! The No Install version will therefore minimise the chance of overwriting your deleted or lost system drive data.

No Install version

File Restore - Emergency Undelete has no product installer and will run directly from the File Restore - Emergency Undelete.exe file. File Restore - Emergency Undelete will therefore run from ANY Windows device location to which it is saved.

  • Do NOT save the recovered files to the same drive from where they were originally deleted. Saving recovered files to the same drive will potentially overwrite the very same files that you are attempting to recover.
  • Do NOT run FREE unsupported data recovery software!
File Restore is backed with comprehensive product support. FREE software can contain viruses, adware (spying), etc. File Restore is a commercial product, fully supported, certified and free from viruses, adware etc.
  • Do create a drive image. If the drive containing the lost data is at risk of failing, or there is a possibility that the lost data may become overwritten, then it is recommended that an image (a copy) of the drive be created. The drive image can be opened, scanned (as with a standard drive) and the data recovered. For further details - click here
  • Do NOT lose important data ever again. If your deleted or lost files have become overwritten then your files will NOT be recoverable. To guarantee future recovery of your data we recommend that you take the following steps:

1. Activate and fully enable File Restore Professional NOW!

If you do not have an activation key - Click Buy Now and a key will be emailed to you within seconds of completing your purchase.

2. Run the fully enabled File Restore Professional and create an image (copy) of your drive or drives (PC, iPod, USB drive, pen drive, etc.). This will create an exact copy of all of your files.

If your files are deleted or lost in the future, a drive image will ensure that you have an exact copy of all your data. If your files are deleted or lost then the drive image can be scanned and the duplicate files restored. Guaranteed Recovery!

3. Create regular images of your drives and save them to a CD, DVD or USB attached drive.

Remember: Prevention is always better than cure!

You run security software to prevent your data from being stolen! Then why allow your data to be accidentally, intentionally, or maliciously lost forever when you can prevent this also!
